Chickasha Public School Foundation Announces New Growth
Chickasha Public School Foundation President Joyce Black announced the appointment of Jessica Burrous as Executive Director. Ms. Burrous joins the Chickasha Public School Foundation on October 15, 2012. The current Executive Director, Lou Christian leaves the Foundation on October 30, 2012, after serving for 3 ½ years.

Lincoln School Benefits from Davis Waldorf
Lincoln students had a personal appearance from sitarist group Sangeet Millennium. The group performed for the community at USAO as a part of the Davis Waldorf Performing Art Series. The Chickasha Public School Foundation is a financial supporter of the Davis Waldorf Performing Art Series and works with Dr. Ken Bohannon to bring music to the students. The group featuring sitarist Dr. Amie Maciszewski is a ethnomusicilogist, which is the study of music and culture. Click title for more info. Read More

CPSF Board Members Distribute $36,000 to Teachers
On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 the CPSF Board Members will be in Chickasha Public Schools distributing almost $36,000 to teachers in the form of grants for the 2011-2012 school year. Approximately 77 gifts will be distributed to teachers at all the schools. Teachers' notification will be during assembly in the morning and CHS teachers will be notified on Friday, during staff meeting. Thanks to our donors, members, supporters and partners with the Foundation who make this possible.
