Lincoln students had a personal appearance from sitarist group Sangeet Millennium. The group performed for the community at USAO as a part of the Davis Waldorf Performing Art Series. The Chickasha Public School Foundation is a financial supporter of the Davis Waldorf Performing Art Series and works with Dr. Ken Bohannon to bring music to the students. On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 the CPSF Board Members will be in Chickasha Public Schools distributing almost $36,000 to teachers in the form of grants for the 2011-2012 school year.  Approximately 77 gifts will be distributed to teachers at all the schools.  Teachers' notification will be during assembly in the morning and CHS teachers will be notified on Friday, during staff meeting.  Thanks to our donors, members, supporters and partners with the Foundation who make this possible.
