Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Fall Forum

Board Member Leann Voss and I spent the day at Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Fall Forum. We had an exciting, motivational day at The University of Oklahoma learning ways to make our Foundation better. It was time well spent.

Bright Smiles for Education Fundraiser

Bright Smiles for Education will be held Friday, August 26th, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Your donation of $125.00 helps teachers and students in the classroom and you have a dazzling smile!

Grant Distribution to Teachers 2011

Board Members delivered Grants to Teachers totalling $36,000! Teachers were informed at morning assembly at each location. Many teachers were pleased and some were disappointed as only a portion of the grants could be funded. Click on the Heading to read more.......

CPSF Board Members Distribute $36,000 to Teachers

On Wednesday, May 11, 2011 the CPSF Board Members will be in Chickasha Public Schools distributing almost $36,000 to teachers in the form of grants for the 2011-2012 school year.  Approximately 77 gifts will be distributed to teachers at all the schools.  Teachers' notification will be during assembly in the morning and CHS teachers will be notified on Friday, during staff meeting.  Thanks to our donors, members, supporters and partners with the Foundation who make this possible.

McTeacher Night - Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. McDonald's 4th Street & Turnpike Locations. Tickets are $5.00 each and available at KOOL 105.5; Chickasha Leader, FOCUS Federal Credit Union, Chickasha Bank & Trust, First National Bank & Trust, any CPSF Board Member and CPS Foundation Office. DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

Award winning mentoring program is scheduled for Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 from 10:30 to Noon. Retired Major General (Oklahoma Air National Guard) and Secretary of Veterans Affairs will share with our 5th grade students about goals, vision and dreams.

Three Public School Foundation Programs to be Recognized for Outstanding Achievement

Three public school foundation programs have been selected as recipients of the 2010 Outstanding Program Awards for Local Education Foundations sponsored by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. The awards, which recognize innovative programs sponsored or administered by public school foundations in Oklahoma, will be presented at the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Fall Forum on Oct. 26. Receiving plaques and monetary awards of $1,000 each will be the Diamond in the Rough program.

50's & 60's Reunion

BRIGHT SMILES FOR EDUCATION

Dr. John Phillips of 29th Street Dental Care has graciously partnered with CPSF to provide customized teeth whitening in exchange for a $125 donation to the Foundation. This event is scheduled for August 27th, 2010. Your Bright Smile provides future dollars for Chickasha Students. Recognizing Our Heroes Luncheon

The second annual Recognizing Our Heroes Luncheon honoring ten school personnel for their stellar contribution to our schools is Wednesday, August 4th, 2010 from 11:30 to 1:00 at the CHS Activity Center.
