Helping Chickasha Students!

The education foundation is an independent community-based nonprofit that helps Chickasha Public Schools students by providing support for educational opportunities that cannot be funded through the district's budget.

In response to the diverse needs of our students, your investment in CPSF supports our innovative programs:

Grants to Teachers: Inspiring students through in innovative and creative programs.For the 2012- 2013 over $ 45,000 in grants were awarded. We have given over $ 650,000 in grants to teachers over the last 25 years.  It is impossible to predict what will inspire a student and inspiration is everywhere. CPSF in commiteed to funding a diverse array of innoviate programing such as; I-Pads in math classrooms,   Software programs to engage students in 21st learning on Smart Boards, hands on science supplies, activity centers for hand's on exploring for our littlest learners, and many more great programs. 
 
Diamonds in the Rough: our award winning program, which inspires 5th grade girls to accomplish their dreams.
 
Scholarships to Chickasha High School graduates. Student scholarships are provided by community members to assist with higher education expenses. Scholarships  are awarded to students after careful review  by the selection committee made up of Foundation board members and invested  community members. We currently offer an avg of $2000 in awards annually.  Students are encouraged to apply.
 
Challenge Day: an anti- bullying program that teachers 8th graders to be the change in  their school.The Challenge Day mission is to provide youth and their communities with experiential programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression.

High School Robotics Team return home as Champions

The Chickasha High School FIRST Robotics Team 3931, the Cockadoodle Dominators, claimed victory at the Lubbock Hub City Regional establishing a reputation as a high scoring reliable robot averaging 45 points a game.
